Scheduling improvements
Set reports to publish as PDF documents or schedule them to be sent to an email address. Schedule reports that have a universe connection.

Everyone group
Administrators can now see all users invited to an account within the Everyone group. If you need to remove a user to make a license available to someone else, simply remove them from the Everyone group, and they'll be removed from all groups, releasing their license.

Upgrading guests to members
Administrators can now invite guest users to become members.

Document overwriting
You can now update existing documents with a new overwrite tool.

View latest instance
See the latest instance of a report by clicking the "View Latest" link.

Default account space
If you have access to more than one account space, you can now select one as the default space that you see in your profile.

Easier administration
Administrators can now import user group information from a CSV file and reset passwords on behalf of their members.

More control of report hyperlinks
Report developers can now link to a specific element of a report - such as a table, chart, or graph - from external applications like Salesforce.com.

Browser choice
In addition to Internet Explorer, Firefox 2 is now officially supported.

Use of existing Business Objects reports
If your company already has Business Objects Enterprise installed on premise, you can now access those reports from crystalreports.com. For more information, contact your Business Objects account representative.

Adding users - new options
When you add viewers, you can now choose to make them members or guests. Viewers added before December 15, 2007, are guests.

Members
Adding members is the recommended way of sharing reports and other documents with users. Members:

Can only view a single crystalreports.com account.
Can be promoted to administrators.
Do not receive an invitation email to register for crystalreports.com - instead, they are added to your account immediately.

Guests
Guests are users with limited permissions who do not need to follow standard account membership rules. Guests:

Can view multiple crystalreports.com accounts.
Cannot be promoted to administrators.
Receive an invitation email to register for access to your crystalreports.com account.

Multiple administrators
You can now make other users administrators for your crystalreports.com account. Administrators can add users, publish reports, and manage your account.

For new users
To add a new administrator:

Click the Accounts tab.
Click Users.
Place your mouse to the right of the Administrators user group, click the highlighted bar, and select Add User.

For users added before December 15, 2007
To upgrade a user to administrator, send a request to OPS_SUPPORT4@MAILCA.CUSTHELP.COM and include the user's email address. After you receive approval, use the same steps as for new users.

For users added after December 15, 2007
To upgrade a member to administrator, use the same steps as for new users. To upgrade a guest to administrator, use the same steps as for users added before December 15, 2007.

Desktop Publisher enhancements
Desktop Publisher is a tool that allows you to publish reports from your desktop to crystalreports.com on a recurring schedule.

You can now use it to upload your crystalreports.com folder hierarchy: Click New Folder and then choose a directory from your desktop to upload to crystalreports.com. The same folder structure will be created on crystalreports.com, and all files and folders within that directory will be updated during each scheduled refresh.
Reports can now be scheduled in a list instead of in groups of 10. Desktop Publisher will queue the reports and continuing running until the list is complete.
